Come Sunday, Aug. 25 at 9:30 am, ULTRA, Christ’s Commission Fellowship celebrates it’s anniversary thru an evangelistic praise and worship service. This fellowship has been ministering to me, my immediate family and friends for less than 2 years now. I’m amazed on how the Lord has blessed this Christian church. My estimate is that they minister to about 8,000 people each Sunday (3 services in the morning and 2 services in the afternoon) – in CCF St. Francis (near Megamall) alone. Reminds me of the church that started this Purpose Driven Church fuzz – Rick Warren’s Saddleback Community Church.
If any of my friends based in Metro Manila wants to join me in this wonderful celebration of the gospel of Christ, contact me personally so we can reserve a seat for you. If you also want to minister to a non-believer friend of yours, this is the best time to share the gospel with them.

Have you watched the first installment of the classic triology “Lord of the Rings”? I did last December. Few things I discovered: … This series has Christian doctrinal values as described in this news article from Crosswalk.com. And that J.R.R. Tolken, the author of this series, was the one who ministered to C.S. Lewis, who later became one of the best Christian authors.
I think I’m gonna watch part 2 this January… :)

This week was really hard for me and my Joy. But God is trully awesome! He’s been keeping us all these times of trouble. Special appreciation goes to our friend Lito for making his presence felt even if he’s way out in the west. Our cell group co-members Kuya Prudy, Sam and Nela – thank you guys for sharing your lives with us. God is good!

Due to my recent experiences with a local cult headed by Eliseo Soriano (with a popular tv program called “Ang Dating Daan”), I’ve been following closely the developments (or underdevelopment) of this particular group.
Anyway, a recent Supreme Court decision prohibits the group from using “Ang Mga Kaanib Sa Iglesia Ng Dios Kay Kristo Hesus“. This is due to a case filed by Soriano’s former group with a similar name. I asked members of ADD (Ang Dating Daan) in The Bereans Forum what will be their name now that the SC declared their use of their former name illegal. A member (and I believe an ADD worker based in the US) said “Iglesia ni YHWH“. Isn’t this cool! :)
Problem though : They don’t know how to pronounce YHWH.

I can’t believe I am back to programming. :) I thought I was busy and feeling lazy coding these days! Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy the new front page design. I do, somehow. As I have been telling the visitors of my site, I’m not a designer. I’m a programmer at heart. So if you do not like the new color combination, it’s the best that you can get from my ‘creative side’. I’m open for suggestions, by the way. I hope, though, you will feel confortable surfin’ around.
