Awright, the title says it all. I’ve moved my blog to a new URL. ArnoldGamboa.com will eventually be depreciated. I recently purchased the domain gamboa.ph. With the unlimited subdomain names, I plan to make it the handler of all blogs of the family. Mine will be http://arnold.gamboa.ph, Joyce, my wife, her recent domain name for the blog is http://joycegamboa.com. It will also be depreciated and will be migrated to http://joyce.gamboa.ph. Johann, my son, yes he can blog :D No, not really. I plan to start http://johann.gamboa.ph with the links to his pictures. If my brother decides to start a blog for himself, well, he can have http://tzaddi.gamboa.ph! That would be cool.
So there you go. Please update your bookmarks.
I have also recently discovered Twitter. I’ve an account and you’ll see what am I doing with the flash applet at the side panel. This thing can be potentially addicting. Add me if you may.

This week, I’m attending 2 both extreme concerts.
The first, which will be today, is a praise and worship concert to be lead by Hillong’s youth group United. I initially felt that this one’s not for me. Reuben Morgan? Yes. But can my 31-year old eardrum carry Joel Houston and Marty Sampson?
Oh well, my worship team at Grace Place will be there to support me. Most of the team will be there, plus Kuya Prudy and Joy and Gayle and Je and Kuya Enjel — all of whom are way past our teeny years. I’m not going to be alone. Mwahhaaa!
Then on Saturday, I’m going to have a date with my Dad. We’ll see Bee Gees — Robin, the last guy alive of the 3 Gibb brothers will be in Araneta. Some of you reading this must be laughing. Go on and laugh, but just remember, The Bee Gees was the rock stars in my dad’s days. And remember this day when your kids will laugh at you 20 years from now for watching and shouting “Whooo, Hallelu-halleluia!” at Bamboo’s comeback concert. Mwahhaaa! :D

Ahh… waiting for a meeting. Got some extra time to blog. Whee!

We’re going to start a new exciting series at Grace Place this Sunday entitled “How to Deal With How You Feel”. It’s going to be very interesting because Kuya Prudy is a Psychologist by profession. And what happens when you combine psychology with spirituality? You got it — psycho-spiritual approach to human emotional hang-ups. We’re going to learn how to handle depression, regret, worry, resentfulness, disappointment, among others. I’m going to post later a more detailed information about this series.

As part of our preparation for the new series, I’m editing a video clip for the worship. Being on Mac, I’d say, it’s hard and easy at the same time. Nonetheless, it’s fun. The tools I used:
Handbrake – great DVD extraction too.
iMovie – I wanted to try Apple’s Final Cut Pro. I saw it, but it does look complicated for me at this point. I went back to the simple, basic iMovie. It works for me.
MPEG Streamclip – for converting huge iMovie file to a compressed mpeg file.

This Halloween season is no vacation for us. The family is moving to another location. Oh, well, just within Mandaluyong still. Nonetheless, the thought of moving still hunts me. The new place is great — very fitted for the growing family, and I’m sure we’re going to enjoy it. But, nah, the next couple of weeks? It’s going to be war zone!

Speaking of moving, I’m also praying for my team at the office to be moved to a bigger room. We’re 18 in number now. It’s kind of clumped up already. So, there, the thought of moving, again, hunts me.

Did I mention it’s going to be fun and inspiring this Sunday at Grace Place? Ah, yes I did. Anyways, if you’re from Grace Place, this is the best time to bring a friend who are hurting or needing some company. If you’re near Makati area, we invite you visit us this Sunday for a free coffee and munchkins, live praise band, and a message that is relevant and inspiring.
