Tonight in our cell group will be the 5th week of our 40 days of purpose campaign, which revolves around the Purpose Driven Life platform. Many have been blessed so far. As a result, cell groups are starting to pop up. Rick Warren’s paradigm is definitely a blessing to the Christian (and the “non-christian”) community.

Our praise and worship team has been in need of a bassist nowadays. We’ve been graced by the presence of Ramil, a Christian bassist, from time to time in the past. On the other hand, he’s been busy at work. My small brother, a rhythm guitarist “by default”, is willing to learn bass guitar. Thanks Ramil for the tutor suggestion.

I’m not a showbiz type of person. But I know Inday Badiday. When I was young, my mom was an avid showbiz fan, that’s why I could still remember her watching Inday Badiday’s showbiz oriented talk shows where I learned the terms “Careful, careful!” and “We will be right back, promise’.
She died Friday, September 26, of brain stroke. Before her death, I read about her column from the Inquirer she entitled
“My favorite book”. I was amazed of the peace she had those times where she was helplessly sick. The peace that can only be explained by a trust relationship with somebody more powerful than anything and anybody in the world.
