At Pagex LLC, a U.S.-based health technology company, I had the unique opportunity to helm the development of an innovative mobile app designed to empower users on their health journeys. The core concept behind the app was to create an interactive platform that would not only help users record their personal health data, but also enable them to share their progress with friends and family. This was especially important as the app was aimed at providing emotional and psychological support to users by involving their loved ones, thereby making the journey more engaging and less isolating.
My role primarily focused on developing the comprehensive technology plan that would act as the backbone of this application. This involved multiple layers of decision-making and execution, ranging from selecting the most efficient mobile development framework to optimizing the backend framework for handling data securely and rapidly. I also evaluated various cloud technologies to ensure seamless scalability and reliability of the app as we anticipated a large user base. After thorough research and multiple iterations, I was able to finalize a robust technology stack that not only met but exceeded the project’s initial requirements.
To bring this vision to life, I was also responsible for forming and leading the team that would work on this project. Leveraging my network and industry experience, I gathered a skilled group of developers, designers, and QA testers. Together, we are working diligently to meet our ambitious launch target for the 4th quarter of 2023. The development is on track, and we are excited about the positive impact our app will have on helping people take control of their health journeys and share their progress with loved ones.
