New theme, WordPress 2.3

Site was down for a couple of days when I tried to upgrade to WordPress 2.3. First problem that I encountered was my former theme not compatible with 2.3. I was forced to leave K2 (which I love, btw) and settle for a simpler theme courtesy of copyblogger. Having said that, I think I love this new theme. Easy to read posts, straight forward sidebar features, neat header.

Still working on the side bar features. Change is scary, remember?

    Hi, Arnold. I faced the same dilemma until I discovered that K2 has released an incredible new version that is compatible with WordPress 2.3—although it’s still in beta—and I think it’s better than before. They are now in the 3rd phase of what they call a “release candidate (RC),” meaning it’s getting very close to public launch. I have had no problems with K2 RC1 or RC2 or RC3, so you might want to give it a try! Take a look at my site below, if you like.

    I actually tried that. I downloaded the newest K2 RC release. I somehow got an error, a weird one on includes. I’m kind of lazy to debug, so I totally abandoned the idea. I will be going back to K2 in the next theme revision, that’s for sure. :D
