I want a MacBook!

I became a Mac addict after I got a Mac Mini last year. Now, I’ve been wanting to replace my Toshiba Satellite for a Macbook. I’ve been trying to sell it for the past 2 weeks. In my opinion, this is a good buy for anyone. They’ll get a 15″ Toshiba Satellite, 6 months old. Almost new — I used it only on Sundays at church and Joy when she Skype’s her sis abroad once in a while. The original price is P50,000, I’m selling it at P40,000. That’s a good deal! And still, no takers!

I’ve been praying about it. It seems that God is telling me to be contented with what I’ve got right now. I must be bordering the “needs” and “wants” line. “Hey, son. I got you a Toshiba Satellite already. That’s it for now”.

:D

That’s exactly how I feel! I want to sell my ThinkPad to get a Macbook soon (I also fell in love with the mac when using the mac mini I won for my brother) but feel God is telling me to be happy with what I have…

But as always, just one more thing God and I’ll be content…haha -wink-

Seriously though I’d be happy with an old iBook if I had one. Just not this PC! argh

    Peace and all good

Ray, what’s wrong with the ThinkPad? :P IMHO, the thinkpad’s #2 in my coolest-laptops list (right next to the Mac Books). They’re built like tanks! Too bad I had to retire my ThinkPad and get myself a lower-cost replacement for the time being.

Some enthusiasts are importing/selling the MacBooks at PhP 63k. Sweet! (In contrast, dealers are selling the lowest-end model at PhP 73k).

Saw the specs of your Toshiba, btw. Any pics?

Arnold, I just got myself a Compaq Presario V2617 a few weeks back (I call it the PaqBook, heheh). It’s nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. And I think 15-inchers are too large for me. I think you can get more inquiries if you post at TipidPC.com.

Better yet, why not consign it with Cooltoyz?

I know someone looking for a laptop but that person seems to be eyeing Core Duo-based machines.

Pics would be cool, though. :)

Ah, ok. Anyways, I’ll try to post pics later. TipidPC didn’t work. I posted twice, no takers. I didn’t know CoolToyz accept consignment. I’ll try to call them tomorrow.
