I officially entered the “30-something” class. I celebrated my 31st birthday last Tuesday. I wanted it to be simple, but thanks to the guys at the office, they threw a kiddie party for me. I’m glad, my 2-year old son, Johann was present, I can hide and joke about *his* party. Thank you guys for remembering with a big bang — you rock! And thanks to my honey for being their consultant :D
The Da Vinci Code premiered here yesterday (a day earlier than that of the US’s). From the looks of it, it’s going to ba big hit. We were having our grace group regularly at Power Plant Mall in Rockwell. At the Gloria Jeans Coffee to be exact. We can’t help but notice a long line of after-office-hours guys trying their hard to get the remaining tickets for the night. Everyone wants it on the first day. Expect more this weekend.
Because of that, our descipleship group has somehow transformed into a planning committee for our Da Vinci Code special next week at Grace Place. We’re suppose to start the planning this Sunday but the guys can’t help it. ;)
Not to spoil it, but we’re planning to transform the 2 Sundays — March 28 and June 4, 2006 — as some sort of educational/historical/apologetical Sunday worship service. We’re going to invite people with questions arising from the movie or the book. More about this when we launch the promotions next week.
My Mac Mini crashed on Tuesday, ironically on my birthday. It has been in the shop for 3 days now. Last time I heard, there was a problem on the hard disk and it has to be replaced. I’ll try to write about the pros and cons of using a Mac at PinoyTechBlog.
