2005!

I don’t normally publicly announce my dreams and aspirations for the new year. But on the second thought, why not? Publicly announcing it would make me more committed to it — much like baptism, a public declaration of trust and relationship with Jesus that results into a deeper commitment.

So, as inpired by Ganns, here’s my to-do list this 2005.

1. Throw an inexpensive, simple yet exciting birthday party for Johann. (March!)
2. Improved quiet time with my Savior.
3. Launch a new, hip and relevant church for the yuppies (young urban professionals) that is Grace Place
4. Read more Max Lucado books, some theology books that tackles Open View Theism, Calvinism and Arminianims and one on church planting.
5. Reconnect with Adventist friends back in college and Adventist churches in Metro Manila.
6. More agressive Team Sparrow in terms of marketing.
7. Start an MIS consulting company

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jer. 29:11

Hi bro! Yup it’s nice to put ourselves on the line. Just make sure that you don’t make a habit of making promises to force yourself to fulfill a commitment. One thing I admire about Billy Graham is that he never makes a commitment he will never fulfill.
Anyway since you’re my friend I am asking you to help me fulfill my own personal mission & vision: SO EVERYWHERE I GO, MY MISSION IS TO AFFIRM, CHALLENGE & PERSUADE EVERYONE TO REFLECT AND EMBRACE THE CROSS, TO INSPIRE WORSHIP AND EQUIP DISCIPLES FOR MINISTRIES WITH ALL THE WISDOM GOD HAS GIVEN ME, THAT I MAY PRESENT EVERONE TO GOD, PERFECT (MATURE) IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO CHRIST. THIS IS MY CALLING AND I WORK VERY HARD AT THIS, AS I DEPEND ON CHRIST’S MIGHTY POWER THAT WORKS WITHIN ME.
    My best for His Glory!

Ei best friend! Thanks for dropping by. And Thanks for reminding me that my ultimate goal is to worship God, please him in my life. I don’t expect that list to be fulfilled anyway. It’s just a to-do list much like a list of task in the office. Kind of an effort to put things in proper order and perspective. Madami ka nyan sa notebook mo dati, diba? :D

Anyway, kelan ka dadaan ulit dito para madebate ulit kita? heheh. Joke lang. Visit us one time at Grace Place. I’m praying for your ministry.
