Statement of Faith
I’m trying to move my data from previous blog. So here it is — my statement of faith.
The Word of God
I believe that the Bible is infallible & inspired Word of God. It is the only authority in spiritual aspect of our lives but has inevitable effect in the other aspects also, namely: physical, mental and social.
One True God
I believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
I believe that Jesus Christ is God. He was born by a virgin. He has sinless life. He took our place as sinners when He died on the cross, was resurrected, went up to heaven to be with the Father and will come back in power and glory to claim us for His own.
Salvation and Forgiveness
I believe that through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, all humanity has been reconciled to God, set free from sin, forgiven and justified. We can now come to God and experience His love and plan for our lives anytime. We repent and confess our sins and go to God not in order to be adopted and forgiven but to experience reconcillation with Him. By His grace thru faith apart from our works, we experience salvation.
Being Born Again
I believe that being born again by the Holy Spirit is an absolute need for our salvation symbolically expressed in baptism.
Sanctification
I believe that we will be able to live godly lives through the continuing powerful influence of the Holy Spirit.
One True Church
I believe that all believers are spiritually united in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, thus forming one universal church.
The Good News Now
I believe in the urgency of proclaiming the gospel to every people.
End Time
I believe that at the end of this world everyone will be given to Godly justice. Those who chose to accept God’s offer of salvation to live with Him forever and those who reject God to eternal death.
